I design on the Showit platform. I've launched hundreds of sites in the last 10+ years on all different platforms, and this is the most friendly and powerful platform all in one. I also feel comfortable handing over Showit sites to clients because it's like Canva for web-builders. All you have to do is drag, drop, and publish to make any changes. Your Showit site is powered by Wordpress, so you'll gain access to all the advanced plugin capabilities that help you massively grow not just your traffic, but also your brand and business.
This package includes a custom blog design which includes all the same pages and features that are included in a template purchase, but designed for your specific needs and aesthetic. You can add more pages for an additional fee per page.
YES! I include a free typographic logo (a text-only logo) with your custom package, so that your new blog looks cohesive and professional. The free logo includes 2 different directions and 2 revisions. If you need a more robust logo & brand design, that can be purchased in a separate package.
No worries, I offer e-commerce design too. If you have only a handful of products, I recommend using Showit with the Shopify Lite button, or SamCart or ThriveCart. For a product heavy site, I recommend a full Shopify storefront. For an additional fee, I can design and develop your storefront, complete 3 full product examples, and then teach you how to add more products, variants, collections, categories, etc to complete your shop. Please contact me to discuss your specific needs.
The actual design week is only 5 business days. I schedule your design week a month or more in advance to give you ample time to complete the intensive homework assignments I need from you in order to create your blog and additional pages.
I need all of your content (images, website copy, etc) before we can start. As soon as you book your project I'll be in touch with details. I provide different assignments that help me understand your blog needs and your brand story. These assignments are due one week before I start your design week.
If you can't complete the brand assignments by the week before your design week, I will push your project to my next available spot. Depending on my availability, that could be a week later, or 8 weeks later. If you are not ready and need more time, I do everything I can to reschedule you within the next 3 months.
You get a free typographic logo, a professional color palette, a fully functioning and launched branded blog on your custom domain, migration of any blog posts from your previous site (WordPress and Squarespace only), basic blog training, all the graphics used in your website in an organized brand asset file, and 30 days of support for any questions, trainings, or bug fixes.

You'll need a Showit subscription (I recommend the top plan for $34/month, so that you can use advanced plugins for your blog.) I also recommend a Flodesk email subscription. (Use this link to get 50% off your plan.) My design fee does not include premium plugins costs, third party software, or additional licenses your blog might require.
For payment, I require a 35% non-refundable payment to secure your design week with me. And then the remaining balance is due one week before your design week begins.
